
3-Day Break
- Day 1 – Morning departure from London or Ashford and travel to the Channel port for the crossing to France. Travel through France with historical explanation en route to Loos. Visit Dud Corner Memorial; see names including the brother of HM The Queen Mother, and the grave of Rudyard Kipling’s only son. Visit Vimy Ridge then check in to the Mercure Atria, Arras for a two-night stay. D
- Day 2 – We visit the Wellington Tunnels and St. Pol where the four Unknown Warriors were brought together for selection. Service of Remembrance at Etaples Military Cemetery once the largest of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission’s Cemeteries. B, D
- Day 3 – Free time in Arras for sightseeing or shopping then depart for the return ferry crossing to England and onward to London arriving late afternoon. Visit Westminster Abbey to see the tomb of the Unknown Warrior and hear his final story. B

You will stay for two nights at the 3-star Mercure Atria in the centre of Arras. The hotel has a bar and all bedrooms have satellite T.V. hairdryer and telephone.
