
12-Day Break
- Day 1 – Fly from Heathrow to Santiago, Chile.
- Day 2 – Arrive in Santiago, transfer to our hotel for an overnight stay.
- Day 3 – Port Howard We fly from Santiago to the Falklands arriving early afternoon. Meet Leger’s local representative and take the connecting flight to Port Howard. Transfer to Port Howard Lodge, an ideal location from which to explore. D
- Day 4 – Port Howard A full-day guided tour of the area to explore farming life, Falklands-style. A considerable amount of aircraft wreckage still remains there, including Mirages, Sky Hawks and Daggers which were destroyed on West Falkland during the war. B,L,D
- Day 5 to 6 – Pebble Island Transfer by a FIGAS (Falkland Islands Government Air Service) 9-seater Britten Norman Islander aircraft, to Pebble Island. The island was the site of one of the most dramatic events of the Falklands War, when a group of British SAS raided the island’s Argentineoccupied airstrip. Further afield, memorials to HMS Coventry and to a crashed Argentine Lear Jet can also be seen. Your accommodation on Pebble Island is at Pebble Lodge. 2xB,L,D
- Day 7 – Stanley Transfer to the capital of Stanley by FIGAS. Following your arrival at Stanley Airport and prior to arriving at the Malvina House Hotel, a city tour brings to light the historical parts of this remote capital city, along with a visit to the museum. Continue to Fitzroy to visit the memorials to the troops lost in the bombings of Sir Galahad and Sir Tristram. B
- Day 8 – Stanley Today is Liberation Day and free time is spent this morning in Stanley for you to attend the ceremony. This afternoon join our battlefield tour of the Stanley Mountain sites (Tumbledown, William, Harriet and Two Sisters) that became household names during the 1982 conflict. B,L,D
- Day 9 – San Carlos, Goose Green and Darwin Depart from Stanley and take a guided tour of the San Carlos, Goose Green and Darwin areas, taking in the British and Argentine war cemetries. Overnight tonight at the Darwin House Hotel. B,L,D
- Day 10 – Travel from Darwin to Mount Pleasant airport for the return flight to Santiago. B
- Day 11 – Continue home travelling from Santiago to Madrid.

Accommodation
On your outward and return journeys, you will have an overnight stay in Santiago.
You will stay in the Express by Holiday Inn (Santiago) or similar, which is a typical modern business/tourist hotel.
All rooms are en-suite.
Your stay in the Falklands involves four different accommodation centres, Darwin House (modern farmhouse style accommodation), Pebble Lodge (a warm and friendly farmhouse adapted for visitors) or similar, Port Howard Lodge and the Malvina House Hotel in Stanley
The deposit for this holiday is £1000 per person.
